Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 21 July 2026

1. Purpose

Interim Collective is a trust network. This policy sets out the behaviour we expect from everyone who uses it. It applies alongside our Terms of Service and Engagement Terms.

2. General rules

  • Do not use the platform for anything unlawful, fraudulent or misleading.
  • Do not upload content that is defamatory, discriminatory, obscene or infringes another person’s rights.
  • Do not attempt to access accounts, mandates or data that are not yours.
  • Do not probe, scan or attempt to breach the security of the platform.
  • Do not interfere with the availability of the service for other users.

3. Data, scraping and off-platform use

  • Do not scrape, harvest or bulk-download consultant profiles, mandates, endorsements or any other content.
  • Do not use automated tools, bots or crawlers on the platform without our written permission.
  • Do not attempt to re-identify anonymised or pseudonymised profiles.
  • Do not use profile data for marketing lists, sales prospecting, training AI models or any purpose other than genuine hiring or work-finding.

4. Consultants

  • Represent your experience, day rates, availability and endorsements truthfully.
  • Only upload CVs, testimonials and logos you have the right to share.
  • Keep availability up to date so employers see accurate information.

5. Employers

  • Post genuine mandates. Do not use the platform to advertise permanent roles disguised as interim assignments, to test the market without intent to hire or to source competitive intelligence.
  • Use the platform’s engagement flow to contact consultants. Do not use profile signals to approach consultants off-platform for engagements sourced here — see our Engagement Terms for the circumvention clause.
  • Treat consultant information as confidential and use it only for the mandate at hand.

6. Endorsers

  • Only endorse consultants you have actually managed or worked closely with.
  • Endorse from a genuine work email address so we can verify the connection.
  • Do not accept payment or other inducements in exchange for an endorsement.

7. Vetting recordings and confidential mandates

Vetting calls are recorded and stored securely for internal quality and trust purposes. Confidential mandates and any information disclosed under a mandate must not be shared outside the parties involved.

8. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected breaches. Depending on severity we may warn you, remove content, restrict features, suspend your account or terminate access. Serious breaches (for example scraping, misrepresentation, or circumvention of the engagement flow) will normally lead to termination and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement or regulators.

9. Reporting

To report a breach of this policy, email gdpr@the-interim-collective.co.uk.
