Endorser & Vetting Notice

This notice is for former line managers and colleagues who are invited to endorse a consultant on Interim Collective, and for consultants going through our vetting call. It explains what we do with your data. It sits alongside our full Privacy Policy.

• What we collect: your name, work email address, job title, the company you worked at with the consultant, and the endorsement text you write.
• Why: to verify that the endorsement comes from a genuine former manager or colleague, and to display a trust signal on the consultant’s profile.
• Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a trusted network, balanced against your rights. You may decline to endorse without any consequence.
• What is shown publicly: your endorsement text and (in most cases) your first name, role and company. Your email address is never displayed publicly and is not accessible to other users.
• Retention: we keep verified endorsements for as long as the consultant’s profile is active. You can ask us to remove your endorsement at any time.

• What we record: the video call between a consultant and Interim Collective, plus an AI-generated summary.
• Why: to maintain the quality of the network, to keep an internal record of the vetting decision, and to review edge cases consistently.
• Access: recordings and summaries are stored securely and are only accessible to Interim Collective’s superadmin. They are never shared with employers or other consultants.
• Legal basis: your consent, given before the call. You may withdraw consent and ask us to delete the recording at any time.
• Retention: vetting recordings are kept for as long as your profile is active, and deleted within a reasonable period after your account is closed.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
